Airbender’s Superbowl Trailer Comes Out Early
Avatar: The Last Airbender (minus, of course, the Avatar part, because James Cameron can’t have any competition. *le sigh*). I’m worried and hopeful at the same time. M. Night Shamalamdingdong, frankly, sucks as a director. He’s starting to get up there with Uwe Boll. And the last thing I ever really wanted was to hear that they were going to take my beloved Avatar: The Last Airbender and give it to him to make a movie of it.
This trailer alleviates a little of that stress.
AAAAPPAAAAAAA! Look for Appa around :08 to :10, on the upper left of the screen (watch for the fireball from the ‘sky’). And they seem to be actually trying to get the bending effects correct.
My only real problem, now, is that I’ve only hear lukewarm to horrible reviews about this. So I’d like to see some actual acting take place, because the real story was never about the fighting: it was about the character interaction.
